Every room, seen in a better light.
Danielle and her crew handle the window treatments, painting, ventilation, and small carpentry jobs your home actually needs — measured, built, and installed by hand.
Four trades, one crew, no subcontracting handoffs.
We keep the list focused to what we can finish well — from full-window makeovers to the one small repair that's been on your list for a year.
Window treatments
Cellular shades, blackout shades, and blinds — measured and mounted, including hard-to-reach windows two stories up.
Interior painting
Walls, trim, and ceilings painted clean, with color and finish guidance if you want a second opinion.
Ventilation & exhaust fans
Bathroom and kitchen exhaust fans installed or upgraded so moisture and odors actually leave the house.
Custom carpentry & trim
Built-in access panels, closet doors, and trim work fitted and painted to disappear into the wall.
Five finished projects, five different problems.
A look at jobs completed for homeowners around the DMV this year. More before-and-afters are added as each new project wraps up.
Light-filtering blinds to blackout cellular shades
Three aluminum blinds in a row were letting in early light and street sightlines. We replaced them with blackout cellular shades for full room darkening and a clean, matched look across all three windows.
Custom shades installed thirteen feet up
A two-story great room had soaring windows with no coverage on the upper run. We measured, ordered, and installed shades up top — no small feat at that height — for light control that finally matches top to bottom.
Bay window: sheer curtains to blackout shades
Sheer curtains on this brick bay window gave privacy but no real light or heat control. New blackout shades tuck neatly into each pane, keeping the classic exterior look while doing a lot more work.
Built-in access panel
An open, unfinished wall cutout inside a closet was left exposed to the attic space behind it. We built a custom wood panel, trimmed and painted to match the wall, so it closes flush instead of standing out.
Home office glare fix
Afternoon sun was hitting the monitor straight on, right where the desk sits. Swapping light-filtering blinds for blackout shades cut the glare without losing the view or making the room feel closed in.
More completed projects are being added soon — check back for new before-and-afters.
